Membership in CRKN increases the quantity, breadth and depth of published scholarly content available to academic researchers throughout Canada. CRKN's By-laws describe the membership process in greater detail.
There are two categories of membership:
Institutional Membership:
An Institutional Member must be a member of Universities Canada (formerly the Association of Universities and Colleges Canada).
Associate Membership:
An Associate Member must be a Canadian degree-granting post-secondary institution or academic and/or research affiliated institutions or organizations. In 2015, CRKN adopted a policy on associate membership.
CRKN works on behalf of its Members to actively develop partnerships and joint ventures with other non-member associations and organizations, to advance the objectives of the Corporation.
