CRKN is pleased to welcome Rachel Neilson as Digital Services Intern. This position is made possible through the Young Canada Works program administered by the Canadian Council of Archives. Rachel will work alongside CRKN’s licensing team on member-focused digital tasks, as well as on various projects related to Canadiana services. Prior to joining CRKN, Rachel worked for a year as the Collections Assistant at the Audio-Visual Resource Centre (AVRC) at Carleton University working on a digital collections project. She graduated from Carleton University with an M.A. in Art History with a concentration in Art Exhibition and Curatorial Practices in April. She also completed practicum placements with Library and Archives Canada and the Canada Council for the Arts as part of her degree and was an intern at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy. Rachel began her work at CRKN on August 27, 2018 and will be working with the team until mid-December.
