Andrea McLellan is the Head of Collections and Technical Services at the McMaster University Health Sciences Library, Hamilton, Canada. She is active on information resource subcommittees for the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL), is Chair of the Medical Library Association User Experience Caucus and is a member of the McMaster University Undergraduate Medicine Curriculum Committee.

This presentation will detail the initial stages of planning and preparation of the collaborative process the McMaster Health Sciences Library undertook to identify and procure an Indigenous Health Collection to support Indigenous and non-Indigenous students and researchers in the area of Indigenous traditional and Western perspectives of Indigenous Health topics, beginning summer 2021.
