We are pleased to share the dates and a new name for CRKN’s annual in-person business meetings. The CRKN Member Summit and AGM will be held Wednesday, October 4 to Friday, October 6, 2023 at the Coast Coal Harbour Vancouver Hotel by APA in Vancouver, BC.
We hope that you will join the CRKN Board, committees, and staff for this opportunity to participate in vital conversations on how we can continue to build a strong future for CRKN and our programs, with the goal of making the world’s knowledge accessible to all.
During the Member Summit and AGM, members will learn about important updates to CRKN’s programs, participate in interactive sessions about key priorities, and reflect on the goals for the organization as we consider the next five years. This in-person event will also include the Ron MacDonald Award Ceremony, to celebrate the accomplishments of the 2023 award winner, and the annual Meeting of the Members, which will have a virtual option for those unable to attend in-person (more details to come).
After three years of offering virtual thematic conference sessions presented by community members, the CRKN Board of Directors has decided to put this conference on hiatus for 2023 to support staff capacity as we develop improvements and incorporate attendee feedback on the events. The CRKN Virtual Conference will return in spring 2024 as a separate event from the CRKN Member Summit and AGM, which will continue to be held in autumn.
