The Content Strategy Committee has been hard at work this past year! Join us for an insightful session that kicks off with an update from the Scholars Portal Journals Expansion Task Group. From there, we will pick up on the strategic conversations from the keynote session and our Shaping the Future: CRKN’s Evolving Open Access Strategy session to delve into CRKN’s commercial licensing program. In particular, we will discuss our current pursuit of read-and-publish agreements and how we might want to evolve our approach to open access and commercial licensing to push for more sustainable models. This session invites you to envision an open science ecosystem beyond read-and-publish, helping guide CRKN’s future licensing and open access strategies. In the final segment, we will explore current license negotiations requiring member input, with breakout discussions to gather collective feedback for CRKN’s ongoing decision-making.
