Lesley Balcom

Lesley Balcom is Dean of Libraries at the University of New Brunswick, a position she has held since 2015. She has served on Canadian Research Knowledge Network’s Board representing the Atlantic region, including a term on the Executive Committee. Lesley served two terms as Treasurer and Atlantic representative on the Board of the Canadian Association of Research Libraries, and represented CARL Libraries as a member of the Coalition Publi.ca Advisory Committee until 2023. She is the Past Chair of Council of Atlantic Academic Libraries, and is currently serving as the CARL Director Lead for the development of a national strategy for Open Educational Resources (OERs).
