Please note: Registration for the 2021 CRKN Virtual Conference: Shifting the Future closed on October 1. This page is available for reference only.
CRKN will be using Zoom to facilitate all the conference sessions. The coordinates for business and thematic sessions will be included in your Order Confirmation email. You will be able to add the conference sessions and links to your calendar by clicking on the appropriate button under Additional Information in that email. Please note that the coordinates for the Annual Meeting of the Members will be distributed separately by email to registered participants in advance of the meeting. In the interim, please place a hold in your calendar for October 21, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM ET.
Currently, a preliminary program for the conference is available on the CRKN website. A full program with finalized details will be available in mid-September.
*New this Year* Group Registration
For the first time, we are pleased to make available a conference group rate. By registering using the group rate, an unlimited number of participants from your institution may attend the conference.
To register for the group rate, please identify one individual from your institution as the group rate administrator. The group rate administrator will register on behalf of the institution by following these steps:
- Select the “Group Rate” applicable to your institution (see list of CRKN Members by band here)
- Choose “1” for the quantity to obtain the flat group rate
- Complete the form with your individual information
- Place your order after entering your payment information
- Contact nbundhoo@crkn.ca with your order confirmation number to obtain a discount code that can be circulated to individuals in the institution to register for the conference at no additional fee. Please note that individuals benefiting from the group rate must still register.
There are two group rates for CRKN members and non-members:
For members: If your institution is in bands 2 to 7, your group rate is $300 (including HST). If your institution is in bands 8-13, your group rate is $500 (including HST). To see a list of CRKN member institution bands and group rates, please click here.
For non-members: If your organization has between 1 to 80 full time equivalent (FTE) staff, your group rate is $420 (including HST). If your organization has over 81 full time equivalent (FTE), your group rate is $700 (including HST).

A limited number of fee waivers are available. If you are a member of a racialized or marginalized community, are under- or unemployed or have other funding or monetary barriers that would prevent you from participating in the conference, please contact Nazia Bundhoo (nbundhoo@crkn.ca). Fee waiver requests are reviewed by the Conference Planning Committee.
Please note that no refunds are available for conference registration. If you purchased a ticket that you can no longer use, or purchased a ticket for an individual rate and would like to change that to a group rate, please contact Nazia Bundhoo (nbundhoo@crkn.ca).
