Join CRKN staff and representatives from CRKN’s Preservation and Access Committee (PAC) and the Canadiana Content Sub-Committee for an overview of the CRKN heritage program and key initiatives over the last year. The session will include:
- A brief overview of the Canadiana Collections, including highlights from recent additions to both Canadiana and Heritage
- An update about the newly formed Canadiana Content Sub-Committee’s recent work on collections strategy and prioritization
- A summary of recent modernization and user driven enhancements to CRKN’s cultural and heritage collections and infrastructure
- The impact of the Canadiana Collections on the Canadian researcher community and how members can contribute content to Canadiana
- An update about the CFI application - Digital Cultural and Heritage Collections of the Future: Enabling Innovative Access and Expanding Research
- An opportunity for members to provide feedback that will drive what CRKN’s digital cultural heritage collections can become in the future
