Hamid Golhasany's doctoral studies at McGill University focus on capacity building for knowledge mobilization. Specifically, he studies effective support structures to facilitate researchers’ knowledge mobilization. His research is shaped by different work experiences as research support staff in Canadian and Iranian organizations. Hamid received the FRQSC scholarship in 2021 for his doctoral studies. Hamid is also co-founder of ScienceReach. ScienceReach is a knowledge mobilization platform that facilitates knowledge exchange between community organizations and researchers. Using ScienceReach, researchers can connect their research projects with local needs and priorities, plan science communication, and network with other community organizations and changemakers. Mitacs funded this project in 2022.
