Jessica Webber (they/she) is an Indigenous ally and LGBTQIA+ community member currently located within Kjipuktuk (Halifax) in Mikmaki (Nova Scotia). After a decade working in photography, videography, graphic design and website development, Jessica began a pivot into Museology, and is currently a third year undergraduate at Saint Mary's University. Combining passions for History, Sociocultural Anthropology, and Archaeology, much of Jessica's research targets reparative justice and digital heritage, and finding innovative ways to tell the other side of the story. When she is not researching their next topic, you may find them learning traditional maritime folk music for sleeping cats.
