Victoria holds the position of Information Policy Scholar-Practitioner at the Faculty of Information, University of Toronto. She is Chair of the Copyright Committee of the Canadian Federation of Library Associations, a Board Member of the World Intellectual Property Organization’s Accessible Book Consortium, an Advisory Board member of the FRAME (Federating Repositories of Accessible Materials for Higher Education) project, Chair, of the International Federation of Library Associations’ Committee on Standards, a member of the Policy Committee of the Canadian Association of Research Libraries, and chair of the ARL-CARL Marrakesh Treaty Implementation Pilot Project.

Less than 10% of the world’s publications are available in accessible formats, creating a significant imbalance in access to education and knowledge for individuals who are print disabled. In order to facilitate work to bridge this gap, academic institutions and libraries need to understand the complex environment of accessibility, from discovery and delivery of works, and the systems and services that support them.
