NIKLA Respectful Terminologies Platform Project

The Respectful Terminology Platform Project (RTPP), a project of the National Indigenous Language and Knowledge (NIKLA-ANCLA), is an Indigenous-led multi-year project to be completed over six years to create a permanent and sustainable online platform that will be a dynamic, multilingual source for terminology and vocabulary sets that can be applied to Indigenous Peoples, places, heritage, tradition, knowledge, and cultures within the country now known as Canada.
The presenters will give an overview of the project and update on the work completed under the Seed Funding phase of the project as well as the aspirational work that is intended to take place under the successful Mellon grant funding over the next two years.
