The Content Strategy Committee met in person on March 9, 2018. The CSC discussed the License Transition Task Group’s report, license renewals, and various other projects.

Management Report
A written management report was shared with the committee and included an update on CNDHI, ORCID-CA, NHDS, and Young Canada Works.
Canadiana Update
The committee was updated on progress related to the CRKN-Canadiana combination. Including sharing a timeline for the near future and other details surrounding the combination.
2017 License Renewals
An update on the results of the license renewals for 2017 were shared with the committee. The results of phases I, II and III were shared.

Serials Management Sub-Committee (SMSC)
An overview of the current work of the SMSC including a description of the automated URL-checking process was provided.
Trusted Digital Repository Task Group (TDRTG)
An update on the timeline of a report, meetings scheduled for the group and the work of the TDRTG was provided.
License Transition Task Group (LTTG)
The report was discussed by the CSC, including providing updates and responses to the report’s 10 recommendations.
Journal Usage Project (JUP)
The JUP was discussed, including specific objectives arising from the analysis.
Journal Value Analytics
The progress to date of the JVA was shared.
Meeting recap and next meeting
The committee agreed to meet for a day and a half in November and for the 2019 March in-person meeting. The next meeting will be on April 9, 2018 via teleconference.
