Since 2018, following the merger with Canadiana, CRKN has maintained two offices in Ottawa. The lease on our Holland Ave. office expires at the end of this month, March 31, 2022, and the decision was made last year not to renew the lease, but rather to consolidate into our Wellington St. office in the Library and Archives Canada building.

The Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN) has negotiated a cost-neutral transformative read-and-publish agreement with Institute of Physics Publishing (IOPP). This agreement includes unlimited reading and open access publishing in most IOPP hybrid and gold journals at no charge to authors affiliated with participating CRKN institutions. The agreement also allows for perpetual access rights to IOPP journals included in the agreement.
