Brianne Selman is the Scholarly Communications and Copyright Librarian at the University of Winnipeg. As well as working on a SSHRC-funded project looking at copyright and remuneration for independent creators, she explores theories and practices of academic publishing economic models, with a focus on scholar-led alternatives.
