Meagan Bowler has been Dean, University Library at Mount Royal University since July 2018. As Dean, Meagan oversees all aspects of the Library, which is located in the recently-opened Riddell Library and Learning Center, an innovative teaching and learning space designed to foster collaboration, connection, and engagement. Previously, she was Associate Dean, Collections and Digital Services at MRU, with overall responsibility for collections management, information systems, acquisitions budgeting, and collections licensing. She served an interim appointment as Library Chair, and was a faculty member with the Library for nearly 15 years at MRU. Meagan holds a BA from the University of Saskatchewan, an MA from the University of Calgary, and an MLIS from the University of Alberta.

How has restricted in-person access to content changed the ways we think about access to research and what initiatives or priorities have arisen as a result?
