Thane Chambers is the Head of Research Impact Services at the University of Alberta Library in Edmonton. She enjoys working with faculty members to figure out how their research and research done at the University of Alberta is recognized and used to benefit the community. As one of a very small number of Black academic librarians working in Canada, she is very interested in equity and diversity in academic publishing, beneficial community-academic collaborations, and evaluative frameworks which more accurately reflect the many diverse impacts research and researchers can have.
