Ali Versluis
Research & Scholarship Librarian
University of Guelph
Ali is a Research and Scholarship Librarian at the University of Guelph, which resides on the ancestral lands of the Attawandaron people and the current treaty lands and territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. In this role, Ali educates and liaises with the university community on open content, licensing, and student-centred pedagogy. Her research interests include academic labour, precarity, and the library leadership industrial complex. A strong believer in the power of collective action, Ali strives to incorporate worker-focused principles into all aspects of her work. She tweets half-baked thoughts and pictures of plants @aliversluis.
