Erin Liu was an Emerging Professional in Digital Scholarship at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) Library's Digital Scholarship Unit from 2020-2021. Erin was instrumental in assessing metadata practices and helped lay the foundation for a more inclusive metadata framework.

The University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) is embedded in a diverse community that is home to one of the largest Tamil speaking diasporas outside of South Asia. To better reflect this diversity, the UTSC Library has contributed to the development of a Digital Tamil Studies program in an effort to better align with our institutional EDI initiatives and more accurately reflect the UTSC’s community.
