Natkeeran Ledchumykanthan is a software developer in the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) Library’s Digital Scholarship Unit. Nat has more than twelve years of full stack development experience and is an active volunteer for community digital preservation/library projects, and a committer for the Islandora 8 open-source project.

The University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) is embedded in a diverse community that is home to one of the largest Tamil speaking diasporas outside of South Asia. To better reflect this diversity, the UTSC Library has contributed to the development of a Digital Tamil Studies program in an effort to better align with our institutional EDI initiatives and more accurately reflect the UTSC’s community.
